Clearance cheeseboards can be marked down for many reasons. This cheeseboard is imperfect. It has multiple rough areas and processing lines, as shown by the blue arrows in the photograph.

Clearance Cheeseboards sometimes have processing lines
Processing lines are vertical lines caused by the equipment used to create the charcuterie boards from the original tree. The lines can vary depending on the exact cause. Often they are very subtle and can only be seen in certain light. Occasionally you can feel a slight ridge and sometimes you can feel a rough area where the processing line is.
How to care for your live edge charcuterie board:
A card card that outlines the best way to care for your board, is included in every board order. All natural wood products require regular conditioning. We recommend adding a container of Board Balm to your order to complete your gift. You can find similar products at some specialty kitchen supply stores if not purchased from us.
- Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Do not submerge in water.
- Re-seal with a natural, food-safe finish after cleaning.
- Keep out of direct sunlight.
- Not dishwasher safe.
